About the Role

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented SSC Associate to join our BDO UK team. As an SSC Associate, you will play a vital role in supporting the delivery of HR-related administration and ensuring a seamless candidate onboarding experience.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide exceptional customer service to new joiners, ensuring a smooth onboarding process.
  • Manage the full process of background screening for candidates.
  • Collaborate with the EH recruitment team to ensure compliance with firm-wide processes.
  • Focus on client service excellence by building and maintaining relationships with key stakeholders.
  • Work closely with other HR teams to ensure quality, effectiveness, and continuous improvement of the HR Shared Service offering.
Requirements
  • A / AS Level education or equivalent.
  • Proven experience within an HR operational delivery role, ideally within a Shared Service structure.
  • Proficient IT skills using Microsoft Office packages (Word, Excel & Outlook).
  • Previous experience of working with HR Systems.
  • Understanding of confidentiality & GDPR.
  • Excellent oral & written communication skills.
  • Excellent organisational and time management skills, balancing multiple tasks and deadlines.
  • High level of focus and attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Process orientated, able to work within SLA's to ensure our service meets the demands of the business.
  • A high level of personal commitment to task completion.
  • Values diversity of colleagues and demonstrates capability to work along and as part of a team.
