We are thrilled to present an exceptional opportunity with CBW Staffing Solutions, a prominent player in the Facilities Management sector. We are currently seeking a Commercial Operations Manager to oversee pricing strategies and tender submissions from a remote location as well as our London office. The ideal candidate will possess extensive experience in Facilities Management, particularly in both hard and soft services.
Working Hours
Monday to Friday - 08:00am to 17:00pm
Key Responsibilities
- Manage extensive portfolios of tender opportunities, typically valued between £2m and £10m.
- Develop high-quality commercial solutions, ensuring compliance with bidding processes and leading the pricing strategies.
- Collaborate with the Head of Procurement to optimize subcontractor benefits while handling general administrative tasks.
- Engage with all internal and external stakeholders to ensure tender submissions align with ITT requirements and client expectations.
- Adhere to estimating processes to ensure timely and accurate tender submissions post-settlement.
- Prepare competitive tender offers in line with industry standards and client specifications.
- Complete necessary documentation, including Forms of Tender and cost analyses, as required.
- Ensure timely delivery of pricing proposals and facilitate executive review stages.
- Oversee quality assurance for commercial proposals, ensuring adherence to company standards.
- Continuously evaluate and enhance pricing models and procedures for efficiency and innovation.
- Stay informed on industry best practices and ensure relevant tools for bid compilation are utilized.
- Follow bid management protocols, including regular reviews and stakeholder engagement.
- Conduct site visits to verify asset information and collaborate with stakeholders to identify winning themes for each opportunity.
- Thoroughly analyze tender information to identify potential risks.
- Assess and improve existing bid activities and processes to achieve excellence.
- Work closely with the Strategic Sourcing Manager to ensure compliance with client requirements and maintain competitiveness.
- Engineering or mechanical/electrical background with the ability to travel for site visits and client meetings.
- In-depth knowledge of pricing and estimating for hard services maintenance contracts; familiarity with soft services is a plus.
- Comprehensive understanding of industry standards and practices, including SFG20 and asset verification.
- A minimum of 5 years of experience in hard Facilities Management or a related field.
- A proven history of success in commercial management roles.
- Willingness to travel as required.
