Procurement Specialist

We are seeking a skilled Procurement Specialist to join our team at the John Lewis Partnership. As a key member of our Procurement team, you will play a critical role in driving cost savings and maximizing value for the business.
Key Responsibilities- Work closely with stakeholders to influence cost allocation, spend commitment, and third-party management to reduce Goods Not For Resale (GNFR) spend and minimize third-party risk.
- Deliver best value through procurement, sourcing, and negotiation expertise, working closely with the Procurement Team, Finance, Legal, and other stakeholders.
- Negotiate commercial and contractual terms to benefit the Partnership, run tender activity, and host meetings with key stakeholders and suppliers.
- Analyze data and review with stakeholders to identify opportunities for improvement, and develop and implement category plans.
- Significant commercial experience in sourcing and negotiation, with a good understanding of procurement processes and systems.
- Supplier management experience, with the ability to build and develop relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
- Ability to analyze data sets, including baseline spend and tender responses, and exposure to reviewing and negotiating contracts.
