About the Role

This is an exciting opportunity to join our team as a Sales Development Manager, where you will play a key role in driving sales growth and customer acquisition for our events and websites. As a Sales Development Manager, you will be responsible for developing and maintaining meaningful relationships with our existing, returning, and new accounts, and driving yearly sales growth through effective sales strategies and tactics.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute sales strategies to drive business growth and customer acquisition
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key clients and stakeholders
  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities and partnerships
  • Manage and analyze sales data to inform business decisions and optimize sales performance
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and implement sales initiatives and programs
  • Develop and deliver sales training and coaching to sales teams
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends and competitor activity to inform sales strategies and tactics

Requirements

  • Proven sales experience in a business-to-business (B2B) environment
  • Strong understanding of sales strategies and tactics, including account management and customer acquisition
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with clients and stakeholders
  • Ability to analyze sales data and inform business decisions
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to think critically and creatively
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize multiple tasks and projects
