A reputable childcare organization, Additional Resources Ltd, is seeking a highly experienced and skilled childcare professional to fill the role of Nursery Manager / Deputy Manager. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of delivering exceptional childcare services, leading and inspiring teams, and fostering strong relationships with parents.
The successful candidate will be responsible for:
- Implementing and maintaining high-quality childcare services in accordance with the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) curriculum and relevant legislation.
- Ensuring the smooth operation of the nursery, including maintaining policies, procedures, and a safe, welcoming environment.
- Leading and managing staff, including recruitment, training, and supervision, to ensure the highest standards of childcare are met.
- Maintaining accurate records, including children's development, staff attendance, and occupancy levels, to inform decision-making and improve services.
- Overseeing health and safety procedures, including risk assessments, first aid, and emergency procedures, to ensure a safe environment for children and staff.
Requirements:
- A minimum of 1 year of experience in nursery management or a similar role.
- A NVQ level 3 qualification or above in Early Years.
- A strong understanding of the EYFS and OFSTED requirements.
- Excellent leadership and communication skills.
