About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Fostering Social Worker to join our team at ISP. As a Fostering Social Worker, you will play a vital role in supporting vulnerable children and families in our community.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide high-quality social work services to children and families in foster care, including assessment, planning, and intervention.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with foster carers, birth families, and other professionals to ensure the best possible outcomes for children.
  • Conduct thorough assessments and create comprehensive care plans that address the unique needs of each child and family.
  • Collaborate with other agencies and professionals to ensure a coordinated approach to supporting children and families.
  • Stay up-to-date with best practices and research in child welfare and social work, and apply this knowledge to inform your practice.
Requirements
  • Qualifications in social work or a related field.
  • Experience working with vulnerable children and families, preferably in a foster care setting.
  • Strong assessment and planning skills, with the ability to think critically and creatively.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with a diverse range of stakeholders.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a high level of flexibility and adaptability.
