About the Role
This is a fantastic opportunity to join Hays PLC as a Finance Business Partner, working closely with the directorate to provide key financial planning services. The team is responsible for a budget of £300m, and you will play a crucial role in supporting and challenging teams to make informed management decisions.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide periodic financial information, including a comprehensive reporting pack with detailed commentary on the financial performance.
- Attend team meetings and lead the presentation of financial information, ensuring clarity and transparency.
- Develop and prepare annual budgets and business plans, taking into account future changes and forecasts.
- Liaise with the business to ensure that financial forecasts and budgets are aligned with organizational goals.
- Maintain and develop financial controls to ensure maximum value for money is obtained, ensuring compliance with authority limits.
- Assist the financial planning manager/finance controller with ad-hoc projects, providing expert financial guidance and support.
Requirements
To succeed in this role, you will be a qualified accountant (ACA, CA, ACAS, ACCA, CIMA) with good knowledge of IFRS. Previous experience in management, accounting, or finance business partnering is essential. You will also have excellent IT skills, report writing, and presentation skills.
