Anaesthetist Consultant with Intensive Care Expertise

Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly skilled Consultant Anaesthetist to join our team at Dumfries & Galloway Royal Infirmary. The successful candidate will have a specialist interest in Intensive Care Medicine and will contribute to the delivery of high-quality patient care.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide anaesthetic services to patients in the operating theatres and critical care units
- Contribute to the development and implementation of clinical policies and guidelines
- Participate in educational and research activities to enhance patient care and professional development
- Work collaboratively with other healthcare professionals to achieve excellent patient outcomes
Requirements:
- Full GMC registration with a license to practice
- Eligibility for entry onto the Specialist Register for Anaesthesia or current Specialist Register status
- Competency and experience across all anaesthesia sub-specialties, particularly Intensive Care, Obstetrics, and Paediatrics
- Subspecialty interest in Intensive Care Medicine
