Our AI Services are designed to assist organizations in modernizing their applications and processes, offering a variety of deployment models and operational controls. We are seeking a leader for the EMEA region to guide and develop a high-performing team of technical professionals, focusing on recruitment, team development, and training.

Your Responsibilities

As a leader within an established team, we require an experienced Technical Leader to enhance a group of dedicated customer specialists and utilize Oracle's AI Services portfolio to support the broader sales team in helping clients transition from identifying business challenges to implementing effective solutions.

  • Lead and develop a team of technical professionals through recruitment, onboarding, and training.
  • Work closely with sales leaders to equip their teams with comprehensive technical insights and support in closing sales.
  • Foster specialized technical expertise within the team across various AI domains related to Oracle AI Services.
  • Build a strong partnership with the engineering team to keep the team informed about upcoming features and services.
  • Identify market challenges and relay this knowledge to product engineering teams.
  • Test new technical features with clients.
  • Ensure compliance with internal processes and uphold the quality of the team's work.
  • Aim to position specialists as thought leaders in their respective fields.

Your team will be equipped to:

  • Identify business requirements alongside clients to streamline solutions.
  • Create tailored prototypes and pilots to meet customer needs.
  • Provide expertise to both internal and external teams to enhance customer success.
  • Test the latest features with clients.
  • Document patterns, architectures, and workshops in a standardized format for global application.
  • Produce engaging written content for various purposes.
  • Research and evaluate upcoming cloud initiatives for continuous improvement.
  • Engage with all customer roles to offer recommendations and guidance.
  • Deliver impactful presentations and demonstrations, advising clients on AI best practices.

Qualifications and Profile

We are looking for a professional with substantial experience in Cloud Infrastructure, application development, and pre-trained AI to tackle customer challenges in their Cloud and application modernization journey. The ideal candidate should possess a Cloud IaaS/PaaS oriented mindset, a broad understanding of application frameworks, and hands-on experience in modernization initiatives. Effectively building and managing technical teams while collaborating with stakeholders is essential.

This role requires strong leadership and a positive work atmosphere, necessitating the future leader to:

  • Lead with empathy, fostering professional and personal growth among team members.

Additional key requirements include:

  • Demonstrated ability to build and lead high-performing teams.
  • Analyze data, identify project and market trends to make informed decisions.
  • Extensive experience in application modernization, architecture, and implementation.
  • Strong understanding and practical experience in delivering AI-enhanced applications efficiently.
  • Knowledge of various architectural approaches in conversational AI, image recognition, and more.
  • Current awareness of the IT market and pre-trained AI trends.
  • Hands-on experience with Python, SQL, and Oracle Cloud Infrastructure Gen2.
  • Familiarity with Oracle Applications portfolio and offerings from other cloud providers.
  • Certifications in cloud architecture, application development, or AI-related fields.
  • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills, including persuasive techniques.
  • Ability to present to C-level executives and influence through communication.
  • A degree in Computer Science or a related field is required.
  • Willingness to travel as necessary.
