Job Description

The Global Process Owner for Order to Cash is a critical role within Informa Global Support, responsible for overseeing and optimizing the end-to-end Order to Cash processes. This includes designing and implementing standardized processes, ensuring compliance with industry standards, and driving continuous improvement initiatives.

Key Responsibilities
  • Define, implement, maintain, and manage the global Order to Cash process, ensuring standardization and simplification of processes.
  • Work with the Delivery team to embed process enhancements while transforming Order to Cash processes, ensuring alignment to process standards and policies.
  • Identify opportunities for process improvements, streamline workflows, and implement best practices to drive standardization, simplification, efficiency, and effectiveness.
  • Collaborate with key stakeholders, including the Delivery teams, Finance, IT, Sales, and Customer Service departments, to align processes and ensure seamless integration.
  • Review and enhance key performance indicators (KPIs) and metrics to monitor process performance, analyze data, and report on the effectiveness of the Order to Cash process.
  • Lead change management efforts to ensure smooth adoption of process changes and new technologies within the organization.
  • Ensure Order to Cash processes comply with relevant regulations, standards, and internal policies. Mitigate risks and issues identified by the GPO, Delivery Teams, RACM reviews, and Audits associated with the Order to Cash cycle.
  • Collaborate with IT to implement and optimize Order to Cash systems and tools, ensuring they support the global process requirements.
  • Develop and deliver training programs to ensure key teams and stakeholders understand and adhere to the global Order to Cash processes.
  • Focus on enhancing the customer experience by ensuring timely and accurate order processing, billing, and collections.
  • Lead and participate in Order to Cash-related projects, ensuring timely and successful project delivery in collaboration with the GBS PMO.
Requirements
  • Ability to think strategically and align Order to Cash processes with organizational goals.
  • Strong leadership skills to drive global initiatives and influence stakeholders.
  • Skilled in identifying issues and developing effective solutions.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to communicate effectively across cultures and regions.
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy in work.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional and cross-regional teams.
  • Capable of adapting to changing business needs and environments as well as being able to deal with ambiguity.
  • Ability to be pragmatic when designing solutions to get the best outcomes for Business and GBS teams.
  • Proven ability to work to stringent deadlines.
  • Flexible and adaptable.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in a related field.
  • Ideally a qualified accountant (e.g., ACA, CIMA, etc.).
  • At least 8 years of experience in Order to Cash.
  • Extensive experience in Order to Cash processes, preferably in a global or multinational environment.
  • Proven track record of process optimization and continuous improvement.
  • Highly skilled in coaching and mentoring of non-direct reports with advanced influencing abilities, including the ability to lead without direct authority.
  • Knowledge of working in a global business environment with a sound understanding of global process and transactional flows.
  • Knowledge of dealing with mergers, acquisitions, and disposals.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex data and make data-driven decisions.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Proficiency in Order to Cash-related software and ERP systems (e.g., SAP).
  • Knowledge of relevant industry standards and regulations.
  • Ability to work collaboratively as part of a broad multi-functional team.
  • Familiarity with automation and digital transformation initiatives in the Order to Cash domain.
  • Experience with Microsoft Office Suite of applications.
  • Preferred Qualifications:
  • Master's degree in Business Administration, Finance, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.
  • Certification in process improvement methodologies (e.g., Six Sigma, Lean).
  • Experience with project management and change management.
