Grant Custodian Project Coordinator & Support Lead

Location: United Kingdom

Salary: £38,000 per annum
Contract: Fixed Term, 35 hours per week

Are you an experienced project coordinator skilled in overseeing intricate, multi-stakeholder initiatives? Join a prominent UK Charity, recognized for driving systemic change in humanitarian efforts. In this role, you will be instrumental in facilitating the transition of grant custodianship between charitable organizations.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Organize and participate in project meetings, documenting minutes and tracking action items through project management software.
  • Compose and distribute essential communications and updates to relevant stakeholders.
  • Establish and uphold consistent project reporting and documentation standards.
  • Collaborate with finance, legal, HR, and other departments to ensure seamless project execution.
  • Track project milestones and provide regular updates to stakeholders.
  • Assist in the development and revision of critical project documents and risk management strategies.

Essential Skills:

  • Significant experience in managing large-scale, multi-national, multi-team projects.
  • Exceptional negotiation and communication abilities.
  • Demonstrated capacity to drive change at both operational and strategic levels.
  • Experience in award management, preferably with institutional funders.
  • Strong organizational skills, including the ability to multitask and manage time effectively.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and project management tools, particularly Asana.
  • Outstanding writing skills, with experience in preparing formal reports for senior stakeholders.
  • Familiarity with risk assessment frameworks in project management.

Desired Skills:

  • Background in the charity or humanitarian sector.
  • Prior experience in a spin-off process.
  • Confidence in developing timelines and Grant charts.
