Job Overview

At Assystem, we are seeking a highly skilled HVAC Configuration Engineer to support the configuration management of the HVAC End-To-End sequence. This role is crucial in maintaining design stability and maximizing design maturity.

Key Responsibilities
  • Liaise with the HVAC Configuration Lead to ensure compliance with the Project level Reference Configuration
  • Support the preparation of the HO1/HO2/HO3 Maturity and Engineering Readiness Reviews
  • Administer the MEH CoMET/SWITCH configuration tool
  • Provide visibility to the Engineering Manager on the maturity of design packages
  • Track and close out Post-Handover Open Points
  • Develop and manage KPIs on the performance of RD and Execution Designers
Requirements
  • Degree in Mechanical Engineering or qualified by experience
  • Experience in a similar or related role in relation to HVAC
  • Experience working to industry standards (BS, EN, ASME)
  • Knowledge of contractual and commercial mechanisms
  • Ability to influence diverse stakeholders
Preferred Qualifications
  • Chartered/ Incorporated Engineer status or working towards it
  • Understanding of PWR design would be advantageous
  • Familiarity with CDM Regulations
