The Job Mission


As the HVAC – Configuration Engineer, you will support the configuration management of the HVAC End-To-End sequence. Your role is crucial in maintaining design stability and maximizing design maturity. Reporting to the HVAC Configuration Lead, your responsibilities include:


⚡️ Liaising with the HVAC Configuration Lead to ensure compliance with the Project level Reference Configuration

⚡️ Supporting the preparation of the HO1/HO2/HO3 Maturity and Engineering Readiness Reviews

⚡️ Administering the MEH CoMET/SWITCH configuration tool

⚡️ Providing visibility to the Engineering Manager on the maturity of design packages

⚡️ Tracking and closing out Post-Handover Open Points

⚡️ Developing and managing KPIs on the performance of RD and Execution Designers



Essential Skills:


Degree in Mechanical Engineering or qualified by experience

Experience in a similar or related role in relation to HVAC

Experience working to industry standards (BS, EN, ASME)

Knowledge of contractual and commercial mechanisms

Ability to influence diverse stakeholders


Desired Skills:


✔️ Chartered/ Incorporated Engineer status or working towards it

✔️ Understanding of PWR design would be advantageous

✔️ Familiarity with CDM Regulations
