As a key member of the Assystem GmbH team, the HVAC Configuration Engineer will play a crucial role in supporting the configuration management of the HVAC End-To-End sequence. Reporting to the HVAC Configuration Lead, this position requires a strong understanding of industry standards and the ability to influence diverse stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities- Liaise with the HVAC Configuration Lead to ensure compliance with the Project level Reference Configuration
- Support the preparation of the HO1/HO2/HO3 Maturity and Engineering Readiness Reviews
- Administer the MEH CoMET/SWITCH configuration tool
- Provide visibility to the Engineering Manager on the maturity of design packages
- Track and close out Post-Handover Open Points
- Develop and manage KPIs on the performance of RD and Execution Designers
- Degree in Mechanical Engineering or qualified by experience
- Experience in a similar or related role in relation to HVAC
- Experience working to industry standards (BS, EN, ASME)
- Knowledge of contractual and commercial mechanisms
- Ability to influence diverse stakeholders
- Chartered/ Incorporated Engineer status or working towards it
- Understanding of PWR design would be advantageous
- Familiarity with CDM Regulations
