The Job Mission

As a Configuration Control Lead, you will oversee the configuration of the end-to-end HVAC scope within the HPC project, ensuring the configuration is always known and managed effectively. Your future team will rely on your leadership to minimize risks and deliver a system at a known configuration.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and coordinate a team of three configuration engineers, ensuring their wellbeing.
  • Ensure compliance with the higher-level Configuration Control Process for the HVAC scope.
  • Manage the consistency and quality of documentation across the HVAC delivery sequence.
  • Drive prioritization of Design Maturity and Stability throughout the delivery process.
  • Represent HVAC Engineering in configuration workstreams and lead optimization efforts.
  • Maintain and improve configuration management tools and ensure data quality.
  • Provide visibility on design package maturity to the Engineering Manager.
  • Develop and maintain KPIs and reporting related to HVAC configuration management.

Requirements

  • Proven experience in a similar role within the construction industry.
  • Meticulous and rigorous engineering approach with high professional standards.
  • Proven ability to deliver engineering safely, on time, and within budget.
  • Ability to work autonomously while understanding limitations.
  • Knowledge of contractual and commercial mechanisms.

Desirable Qualifications

  • Degree in a related engineering field.
  • Chartered Engineer status with a relevant engineering institute.
  • Detailed understanding of PWR design and operational experience.
  • Working knowledge of CDM Regulations.
