About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Senior Risk and Assurance Manager to join our team at Playtech. As a key member of our Risk, Internal Control and Assurance Team, you will play a critical role in shaping our risk management and assurance strategies.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist in the development and implementation of our global risk strategy and integrated assurance framework.
  • Support management in their risk assessments to inform business decisions and drive strategic objectives.
  • Lead Risk Assurance activities to ensure key controls operate effectively and provide advice on improvement opportunities.
  • Develop and implement programs to enhance controls in ESG, operational, and non-financial reporting areas.
  • Lead and implement the Integrated Assurance strategy, working with assurance providers to map assurance across key risk areas.
Requirements
  • At least 5 years of experience in operational risk management and internal controls, with a track record of developing and implementing successful risk and assurance strategies.
  • Experience in risk management, internal audit, external audit, or finance, with qualifications in CIRM, CIA, or equivalent.
  • Strong self-management skills, with the ability to drive change in complex projects and navigate diverse cultures.
  • Gravitas to challenge ideas and a resilient, engaging style.
  • Good understanding of risk methodologies, including ISO 31000, COSO 2017, and the UK Corporate Governance Code 2024.
