We are seeking an experienced Senior Risk and Assurance Manager to join our team at Playtech. As a key member of our Risk, Internal Control and Assurance Team, you will play a critical role in shaping our risk management and assurance strategies.
Key Responsibilities- Assist in the development and implementation of our global risk strategy and integrated assurance framework.
- Support management in their risk assessments to inform business decisions and drive strategic objectives.
- Lead Risk Assurance activities to ensure key controls operate effectively and provide advice on improvement opportunities.
- Develop and implement programs to enhance controls in ESG, operational, and non-financial reporting areas.
- Lead the Integrated Assurance strategy, working with assurance providers to map assurance across key risk areas and champion integration of assurance practices.
- At least 5 years of experience in operational risk management and internal controls, with a track record of developing and implementing successful risk and assurance strategies in a multinational corporation.
- Background qualifications in risk management, internal audit, external audit, or finance are highly sought after.
- Strong self-management skills, ability to drive change in complex projects, and sensitivity to diverse cultures.
- Gravitas to challenge ideas and a resilient yet engaging style.
- Good understanding of risk methodologies and guidance such as ISO 31000, COSO 2017, and the UK Corporate Governance Code 2024.
