We operate eight bakeries across the UK, producing a wide range of biscuits and snacks for major brands and retailers. Our products are sold in over 170 countries, and we employ around 4,000 people across our locations.

The Role

We are seeking a Packing Operative to join our team in Blackpool. As a Packing Operative, you will play a key role in ensuring the efficient and safe production of our biscuits. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Rotating between packing, stacking, and inspection tasks
  • Picking and placing biscuits at speed, packing them into boxes, and stacking the boxes onto pallets
  • Ensuring the efficient and safe start-up, operation, and shutdown of process equipment
  • Producing high-quality products to our customers' specifications

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Experience of working in a high-speed food manufacturing environment (full training will be provided)
  • Ability to work as part of a team
  • Ability to work with limited supervision after training
  • Good standards of literacy and numeracy
  • Physical ability to perform heavy lifting, pushing, and pulling within site manual handling limits
