About the Role:

We are seeking a skilled Maintenance Reliability Specialist to join our team at Amazon UK Services Ltd. in the Global Amazon Warehouse & Delivery Network. As a key member of our Reliability Maintenance Engineering team, you will play a critical role in maintaining and optimizing technologies to ensure the highest levels of equipment availability and quality.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Carry out planned preventative maintenance on a wide range of equipment, including conveyor systems, motor controllers, and sortation machines.
  2. React quickly to equipment breakdowns, communicate effectively with stakeholders, and work efficiently to resolve issues.
  3. Support and learn from Senior Reliability Engineering Technicians to enhance your skills and knowledge.
  4. Manage contractors and ensure that maintenance activities are carried out in a safe and efficient manner.

Requirements:

  1. Served a full Engineering indentured Apprenticeship and/or qualified to a minimum of NVQ level 3 or equivalent in a relevant Engineering subject.
  2. Multi-skilled in both electrical and mechanical disciplines.
  3. Experience of planned preventative maintenance systems, including interpreting mechanical and electrical drawings.
  4. Experience of conveyor maintenance, motor controllers/inverters, panel wiring, and sortation machines.
  5. Experience of print and apply machines.
