Reliability Maintenance Engineering Technician

Job Summary

Amazon is seeking a skilled Reliability Maintenance Engineering Technician to join our team. As a key member of our Global Amazon Warehouse & Delivery Network, you will play a critical role in maintaining and optimizing technologies to ensure seamless operations.

Main Responsibilities

• Prioritize health and safety best practices in all work carried out, ensuring compliance with all relevant health and safety standards and regulations.
• Conduct planned preventative maintenance on a wide range of equipment within the site, utilizing your expertise in electrical and mechanical disciplines.
• Respond promptly to equipment breakdowns, communicate effectively with affected stakeholders, and work efficiently to resolve issues.
• Collaborate with Senior Reliability Engineering Technicians to share knowledge and best practices.
• Manage contractors and ensure that all work is completed to the highest standards.

Requirements

• Possess a full Engineering indentured Apprenticeship and/or be qualified to a minimum of NVQ level 3 or equivalent in a relevant Engineering subject (City & Guilds EAL, SVQ/IVQ, BTEC all at Level 3).
• Be multi-skilled in both electrical and mechanical disciplines.
• Have experience with planned preventative maintenance systems and interpreting mechanical and electrical drawings.
• Possess experience in conveyor maintenance, motor controllers/inverters, and other relevant areas.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with panel wiring and sortation machines.
• Familiarity with print and apply machines and other advanced technologies.
