Join the Amazon Reliability Maintenance Engineering team, where we focus on maintaining and enhancing technologies within the Global Amazon Warehouse & Delivery Network.

ROLE PURPOSE:
We are seeking enthusiastic, customer-oriented individuals to join us as a Senior Reliability Maintenance Engineering Technician.

The primary responsibility of this role is to uphold safety standards, ensure timely preventative maintenance, and enhance equipment availability through ongoing improvements.


Shift Pattern:
This position may require working non-traditional hours, including nights and weekends.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Exemplify health & safety best practices and ensure compliance among team members.
  • Engage in hands-on work while demonstrating expertise in all Material Handling Equipment (MHE).
  • Provide coaching and mentorship to fellow technicians on shift.
  • Assist the line manager and oversee the shift in their absence.
  • Ensure high equipment availability through effective troubleshooting and prioritization.
  • Support the continuous improvement of systems across the EU network.
  • Foster positive working relationships at all organizational levels.
  • Understand Overall Equipment Effectiveness (OEE) and performance metrics.
  • Manage contractor activities effectively.
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

  • Proficient in both electrical and mechanical disciplines with relevant experience in automation or complex MHE settings.
  • Strong foundational knowledge of PLC-based control systems.
  • Experience with Computerized Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS) for proactive maintenance planning and reactive task recording.
  • Familiarity with statutory compliance requirements.
  • Ability to communicate effectively in English and the local language at CEFR Level B2 or higher.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

  • Demonstrated ability to supervise and influence team members.
  • Proven capacity to manage multiple projects and prioritize workloads effectively.
  • Experience in managing multiple contractors.
  • Background in a multi-site operational environment.
