Neos Recruitment Limited is a leading recruitment agency specializing in the HGV sector. We are currently working with a well-respected and well-known brand within the industry, seeking an experienced Executive Director of Operations to join their team.

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Executive Director of Operations to oversee the management of our refrigerated vehicle manufacturing facility. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in body building and prior management of a similar production environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee the management of the refrigerated vehicle manufacturing facility.
  • Prioritize and coordinate the build schedule.
  • Collaborate with the Production Director and Production Manager.
  • Prepare and complete job cards and work orders.
  • Communicate with vehicle manufacturers, dealers, and customers.
  • Report directly to senior management.
  • Prepare and compile parts orders.
  • Coordinate with suppliers and contractors for parts procurement.
  • Work closely with the accounts department for invoicing of builds and parts.
  • Facilitate team member onboarding and induction processes.
  • Schedule and organize maintenance for plant machinery.
  • Supervise overall factory maintenance activities.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience in a General Manager position.
  • Must have a background in body building and prior management of a similar production environment.
  • Strong understanding of the manufacturing process is essential.
  • Basic knowledge of vehicle type approval is a plus.
