Position Overview: We are seeking a dedicated Relief Care & Support Assistant to deliver exceptional care and support to our residents. This role is essential in helping our residents maintain their independence and enjoy a fulfilling lifestyle.

Compensation: The base salary for this position is £12.72 per hour, with opportunities for additional earnings.

Working Hours: Flexible hours will be discussed with the management team.

Key Responsibilities:

As a Relief Care & Support Assistant, your primary responsibilities will include:

  • Providing high-quality, individualized care to residents, ensuring their comfort and wellbeing.
  • Delivering housekeeping and domestic support throughout the estate, including cleaning apartments.
  • Encouraging residents to engage in various activities that promote their health and wellbeing.
  • Assisting residents with booking appointments, arranging transportation, and accompanying them on outings as needed.
  • Utilizing your interpersonal skills to foster positive relationships with residents and their families.

Candidate Profile:

The ideal candidate will possess:

  • A warm and friendly demeanor, with experience in a care or support setting preferred.
  • A genuine passion for enhancing the wellbeing and happiness of older adults.
  • A commitment to delivering outstanding customer service.
  • A desire to work within the Health and Social Care sector, with a preference for candidates holding a QCF Health and Social Care (Adults) Level 2 qualification, though alternative qualifications and relevant experience will be considered.
