With our headquarters in Leeds, our dedicated team of approximately 1,400 professionals oversees the management of around 175,000 vehicles. Our operations encompass a wide range of the automotive sector, including commercial vehicles, corporate fleets, and consumer leasing.

The Role

We are seeking individuals with experience in commercial fleet management to join our dynamic Commercial division. As a Fleet Operations Coordinator, you will play a crucial role in advising key stakeholders on vehicle repair matters. Acting as a primary contact for customers, you will proactively oversee daily cost-effective vehicle repair decisions.

Working hours are 20 per week, with flexible scheduling options available.

Responsibilities

  • Deliver exceptional customer service and foster relationships with both internal and external stakeholders.
  • Collaborate within a fleet desk team and effectively communicate with all departments across the division.
  • Assist in diagnosing mechanical issues by engaging with customers.
  • Prioritize tasks efficiently, ensuring accurate recording of all systems and updates.
  • Input all relevant information into internal software systems accurately and comprehensively.
  • Oversee and organize all contracts.
  • Coordinate with the Contract Relationship Manager and Customer Service Manager regarding any emerging issues.
  • Address daily queries and escalations from customers.
  • Maintain records for all repairs and service inspections.
  • Serve as the key point of contact for customers, providing regular updates on repair status and service inspections.
  • Report defects to customers, prepare estimates and quotations, and obtain necessary order numbers.
  • Offer assistance to team members as needed.

Requirements

  • Strong knowledge of LCV & HGV compliance and proven experience in a similar role.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced and demanding environment.
  • Excellent telephone-based customer service skills.
  • Strong verbal and written communication abilities.
  • Highly organized and dependable.
