The Role

We are eager to connect with individuals who possess experience in commercial fleet oversight to join our dynamic Commercial division. As a Vehicle Fleet Coordinator, you will be responsible for advising key stakeholders regarding vehicle maintenance and repairs. Acting as a primary contact for clients, you will proactively manage daily cost-effective vehicle repair decisions.

Working hours are 20 per week, with flexible scheduling options available.

Responsibilities

  • Deliver exceptional customer service and cultivate relationships with both internal and external stakeholders
  • Collaborate within a fleet desk team and liaise effectively with all other departments across the Division
  • Assist in diagnosing mechanical issues by engaging with customers
  • Prioritize tasks efficiently, ensuring all systems and updates are accurately recorded
  • Ensure all information is correctly entered into internal software systems, maintaining accuracy and relevance
  • Oversee and organize all contracts
  • Communicate with the Contract Relationship Manager & Customer Service Manager regarding any emerging issues
  • Address daily inquiries and escalations from clients
  • Maintain comprehensive records for all repairs and service inspections
  • Serve as the main point of contact for clients, regularly updating them on repair progress and upcoming service inspections
  • Report all defects to clients, preparing estimates and obtaining necessary order numbers
  • Provide support to other team members as needed

Requirements

  • A strong understanding of LCV & HGV compliance and proven experience in a similar role
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced and demanding environment
  • Excellent telephone-based customer service skills
  • Strong verbal and written communication abilities
  • Highly organized and dependable
