About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Vehicle Technician to join our team at Royal Mail Group. As a key member of our workshop team, you will be responsible for performing a range of inspections, diagnostic, maintenance, and repair procedures on a variety of vehicles, trailers, and mechanical equipment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform routine maintenance and repair procedures on light and heavy goods vehicles
  • Use personal toolkit to undertake standard repairs
  • Access specialist tooling and shared equipment in modern, fully equipped workshops

About You

We are looking for a qualified mechanic with a strong background in vehicle maintenance and repair. You will have a valid UK driving licence, preferably an HGV licence with trailer experience, and be able to work on a flexible shift rota.

Requirements:

  • IMI Level 3 qualified mechanic
  • Varied vehicle experience, including LCV and HGV
  • Valid UK driving licence, preferably HGV licence with trailer experience
  • High working standards and ability to work on a flexible shift rota
