Job Description:

We are in search of a Government Affairs Manager to enhance our operations in Europe. Reporting directly to the Director, your role will encompass the influence of UK and EU legislation, the formulation of policy stances, the cultivation of stakeholder relationships, and the representation of Novelis' interests in various meetings and industry associations.

Key Responsibilities:

Develop and implement a government affairs strategy centered on UK/EU relations and sustainability initiatives. Broaden the network with UK stakeholders to sway policy decisions that align with corporate objectives. Assist in external communications and relations during critical situations. Act as Novelis' representative in industry associations and work alongside business leaders to assess policy impacts.

Requirements:

An advanced degree in public policy, political science, or a related discipline. At least 6 years of experience in public policy or sustainability sectors. A strong network within the UK and a deep understanding of circular economy and climate-related issues. Exceptional communication and relationship management capabilities.
