About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Sourcing Lead to join our Global Sourcing team at S&P Global. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for strategically managing global sourcing events across our indirect spend categories, with spend under management exceeding $600 million.

Responsibilities
  • Lead the development and execution of innovative sourcing strategies that align with our overall business objectives.
  • Collaborate with Divisional Sourcing Directors to create comprehensive sourcing plans.
  • Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with strategic vendors and stakeholders to enhance collaboration and trust.
Key Skills and Qualifications
  • Fluent in English with strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Bachelor's Degree required.
  • Minimum 5 years in professional procurement, with demonstrated experience in sourcing, negotiations, and delivering savings.
  • Proven experience in engaging and influencing reluctant stakeholders to achieve procurement objectives.
  • Familiarity with e-Sourcing tools (e.g., Ariba) is essential.
