Job Description

Safran Seats is a leading manufacturer of premium seating and technology for the aerospace industry. We are seeking a highly skilled Customer Account Coordinator to join our team in the UK.

Key Responsibilities

As a Customer Account Coordinator, you will be responsible for handling customer inquiries, administering spares sales orders, and providing administrative support to ensure seamless customer experience. Your key responsibilities will include:

  • Handling customer requests for quotations, following documented processes to provide formal quotations with stock availability and lead times.
  • Loading customer sales orders onto BaaN and M3 in line with documented processes to ensure accurate customer details.
  • Managing AOG activity, obtaining lead times or Stores support for 24-hour targeted TAT to support customer urgent needs.
  • Maintaining departmental KPIs and liaising with the Spares team and cross-functional teams to establish progress on spares requirements.
  • Liaising with Engineering and Programme Management to obtain and develop customer and product knowledge to better support airlines.
  • Maintaining strong customer communication, including issuance of open order books, order status, and changes, and distribution of monthly communication packs.
  • Handling customer complaints, including RMA management and resolving to completion, including SRO entry onto BaaN.
  • Maintaining records on database of all order entry to meet audit purposes.
  • Supporting the maintenance of our front office mailbox for all other enquiries.
  • Attending customer meetings and exhibitions as required.
  • Covering other ad-hoc office administration duties from time to time.

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Proficiency in the operation of office computers.
  • Advanced level knowledge of Microsoft Office software products (standard suite of office software products: MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Project, et al.).
  • Ability to efficiently perform multiple tasks simultaneously.
  • Ability to interface with all departments within the company and multi-cultural outside customers.
  • High standards of performance, assuming responsibility and accountability for successfully completing assignments or tasks.
  • Ability to work extended hours as needed.
  • Experience in a customer-related area or proven ability to work well with customers.
  • Participation in company training as required.
