Position Overview:
Pertemps Medical Professionals is currently seeking a qualified Locum Consultant in Learning Disabilities Psychiatry to join our esteemed team. This role is designed for a part-time commitment, requiring flexibility across four days a week, with a mandatory coverage on Fridays.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide expert psychiatric care to adults with learning disabilities and autism.
- Participate in on-call duties, which include telephone support across three facilities.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive patient care.
Essential Qualifications:
- Must possess a valid GMC Licence to Practice.
- Eligibility to work in the UK with a minimum of six months' experience in a UK-based role.
- Experience in the field of Learning Disabilities Psychiatry and Autism is required.
- Holding Section 12 and AC Status is considered advantageous.
Compliance and Documentation:
- Current DBS/PVG check.
- Occupational Health Clearance, including proof of immunity to Hepatitis B, Measles, and Rubella.
- Valid documentation demonstrating the right to work in the UK.
- Completion of mandatory training and submission of qualification certificates.
