About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Marine Trading Manager to join our team at Aviva Marine. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for ensuring the allocated business is in line with plan requirements for all Marine business written and renewed.

Key Responsibilities
  • Deliver the volume, quality, and profitability of growth opportunities to the Line of Business, enabling them to hit their plan targets.
  • Build relationships with brokers and customers, both internally and externally, as necessary.
  • Exercise key responsibilities for the training and development of junior underwriting staff, and to deliver thought leadership.
  • Accountable for the performance and development of the risks assigned to you, as per plan.
Requirements
  • Strong technical experience in underwriting and handling cargo and freight liability risks.
