Electrical Estimator Job Description

Your new company is a leading-edge firm specialising in the design, manufacture, installation, and commissioning of electrical control systems worldwide. As part of our continued growth, we are seeking a Technical Sales/Electrical Estimator to join our dynamic team.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Identify new business opportunities with both new and existing customers across a range of industries, including Sand & Quarry, Recycling, Food, Renewables, Animal Feeds, Refrigeration, and Water & Waste Water.
  • Liaise with clients to understand their requirements, budget, and expectations, providing the most appropriate solutions to meet their needs.
  • Understand specifications, electrical schematics, block cable diagrams, and BOMs, and work within regulations to ensure health and safety, environmental, and other requirements are met.
  • Provide accurate costings for clients and work closely with suppliers to achieve the best possible costings from the outset.
  • Work on your own initiative to provide timely quotes and win new business with precision and attention to detail.
  • Negotiate contract terms and conditions, strive for continuous improvements in quality, and assist other departments such as design, production, site installation, and technical support to ensure projects run smoothly.
