Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Electrical Maintenance Specialist to join our team. As an Electrical Maintenance Specialist, you will play a critical role in ensuring the continuous and efficient operation of our electrical systems and equipment. You will be responsible for performing regular maintenance, troubleshooting issues, and working on improvements to enhance the reliability and performance of our facilities.
Key Responsibilities:
- Electrical System Maintenance: Conduct regular inspections and preventive maintenance on electrical systems, machinery, and equipment to ensure optimal performance and minimize downtime.
- Troubleshooting and Repair: Diagnose and repair electrical faults in a timely manner to minimize downtime and ensure business continuity.
- Electrical Installation and Compliance: Ensure all electrical installations comply with safety standards and regulations, and maintain accurate records of all maintenance work.
- Collaboration and Communication: Collaborate with other maintenance staff and departments to coordinate repairs and upgrades, and provide technical support and training to other team members as needed.
- Project Management: Participate in the planning and execution of electrical projects, including equipment upgrades and new installations.
Requirements:
- Qualifications: Level 3 qualification in Electrical Engineering, Electrical Maintenance, or a related field.
- Experience: 2 years of experience in electrical maintenance, preferably in an industrial setting.
- Skills: Strong knowledge of electrical systems, including PLCs, motors, drives, and control systems, as well as experience with preventive maintenance programs and troubleshooting techniques.
- Personal Qualities: Familiarity with safety regulations and best practices in electrical maintenance, and the ability to read and interpret electrical schematics, blueprints, and technical manuals.
