Electrical Engineer Opportunity

We are seeking an experienced Electrical Engineer to join our team at REED Specialist Recruitment. As an Electrical Engineer, you will be responsible for conducting inspections and testing on customers' electrical installations, including emergency lighting testing, fire alarm inspections, mains analysis, thermal imaging, and small remedial repairs. You will also be required to complete all relevant reports and certification using our cloud-based certification software.

Key Responsibilities:
Conducting inspections and testing on customers' electrical installations
Completing all relevant reports and certification using our cloud-based certification software
Ensuring all reports and certification are completed and submitted on time
Carrying out LED lighting replacements

Requirements:
Flexibility to work 40 hours per week, including evening/twilight shifts
Willingness to travel to sites across ROI and stay overnight when required
Full UK Driving Licence, with 6 points or less
SVQ level 3 or City & Guilds 2360/2330 part 1 & 2 qualification
City & Guilds 18th Edition qualification
City & Guilds 2391/2394 & 2395
AM2 or equivalent
IPAF 3a & 3b licence
Good level of IT literacy
Experience in an electrical testing environment
Experience with Electrical installation/project work, specifically commercial lighting replacements
Understanding of UK Health and Safety Regulations within the workplace
