We are seeking a skilled Electrical Automation Specialist to join our engineering team in Armagh. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and programming PLC systems to automate and improve production processes.
Key Responsibilities:- Design and develop PLC systems to optimize production processes
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues with existing PLC systems and related equipment
- Collaborate with production and maintenance teams to integrate PLC systems into manufacturing processes
- Conduct routine maintenance, updates, and modifications to PLC systems to enhance system performance
- Create and maintain documentation for PLC programs, configurations, and system changes
- Ensure compliance with safety standards, industry regulations, and company policies
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Automation, or a related field
- Proven experience in PLC programming, preferably in an industrial or manufacturing environment
- Strong knowledge of PLC systems (e.g., Siemens, Allen-Bradley) and associated programming languages
- Familiarity with HMI development and SCADA systems is advantageous
- Competitive salary in the range of £30,000 - £40,000 per annum
