Job Description

We are seeking a highly motivated and dedicated Autism Support Assistant to join our team at Ribbons and Reeves Limited. As a Psychology Graduate with a passion for making a meaningful impact on the lives of children and young people with Autism, you will have the opportunity to contribute to the development of vulnerable students while gaining valuable experience and advancing your career in Special Educational Needs (SEN).

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide individualized support to students with Autism, promoting their social, emotional, and academic development.
  • Collaborate with teachers and other professionals to develop and implement personalized learning plans.
  • Assist with behavioral interventions and strategies to support students with Autism.
  • Contribute to a positive and inclusive school environment, promoting social skills and relationships among students.

Requirements:

  • Psychology Graduate with a strong understanding of Autism Spectrum Disorder.
  • Experience working with children and young people with Autism.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team.
