Assembly Manufacturing Director

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Assembly Manufacturing Manager to lead our production floor operations. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing and coordinating all production activities, ensuring safety and morale of employees, and driving continuous improvement initiatives to enhance plant performance.
Key Responsibilities:- Production Planning and Control: Develop and implement production plans to meet business goals and customer demands, ensuring effective utilization of manpower, equipment, and materials.
- Manufacturing Operations: Oversee the receipt and movement of released product, manage production control activities, and ensure compliance with HS&E policies and procedures.
- Team Leadership: Lead and develop a high-performing team, providing coaching, training, and development opportunities to ensure the highest level of skill and knowledge necessary to meet company needs.
- Continuous Improvement: Identify and implement opportunities for improvement, driving lean manufacturing practices and reducing waste and costs.
- Collaboration and Communication: Work closely with other departments, including Industrial Engineering and LPO, to ensure seamless integration of new programs and projects.
- Education and Experience: Bachelor's degree in Plastics Technology or Industrial/Manufacturing Engineering, with a minimum of 10 years of supervisory experience in manufacturing management or a related field.
- Technical Skills: Strong knowledge of planning, budgeting, and operations in a production environment, including Manufacturing Requirements Planning (MRP) and lean manufacturing principles.
- Leadership and Communication: Proven leadership and communication skills, with the ability to motivate and develop a high-performing team.
