Assembly Production Manager

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Assembly Production Manager to join our team at North Star Staffing Solutions. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for overseeing the management and coordination of all production floor operations, ensuring the highest level of safety, quality, and productivity.
Key Responsibilities:- Production Planning and Control: Develop and implement effective production plans to meet business goals and customer demands, ensuring timely delivery of products and minimizing costs.
- Manufacturing Operations: Oversee the receipt and movement of released product, manage production flow, and ensure compliance with safety and quality standards.
- Team Leadership: Lead and motivate a team of production staff, providing guidance, training, and development opportunities to ensure the highest level of skill and knowledge.
- Process Improvement: Identify areas for improvement and implement lean manufacturing systems, 5S, and other initiatives to increase efficiency and productivity.
- Performance Management: Evaluate the performance of production staff, provide feedback, and recommend training and development opportunities to ensure the highest level of performance.
- Education: Degree in Plastics Technology, Industrial or Manufacturing Engineering, or related field.
- Experience: Minimum 10 years of supervisory experience in manufacturing management or related field, with knowledge of planning, budgeting, and operations in a production environment.
- Skills: Strong leadership and communication skills, with ability to conceptualize business solutions and present to senior management.
- Knowledge: Lean manufacturing systems, 5S, problem-solving techniques, TPM, Kanban, Yokoten, value stream mapping, visual management, and cell concept.
