Job Title: General Practice Nurse Trainee
Job Summary:
Hammersmith and Fulham Training Hub CIC is seeking a highly motivated and enthusiastic General Practice Nurse Trainee to join our team. As a General Practice Nurse Trainee, you will have the opportunity to work in a dynamic and supportive environment, providing high-quality care to patients in a variety of settings.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide nursing care to patients in a General Practice setting, including routine check-ups, vaccinations, and health screenings.
- Work collaboratively with other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless care delivery.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with patients, families, and carers.
- Participate in ongoing education and training to enhance clinical skills and knowledge.
- Contribute to the development of policies and procedures to improve patient care and outcomes.
Requirements:
- Up-to-date membership of the NMC, preferably adult nursing branch.
- Qualification at Diploma level in Adult Nursing - University entry criteria varies.
- No prior GPN experience is necessary for this training post. You can apply as a Newly Qualified RN. Equally, you can transition from another area of nursing as long as you have qualified as an Registered Adult Nurse.
Personal Qualities:
- Ability to work without constant supervision but remain within safe boundaries of competence.
- Able to demonstrate flexibility in practice to suit different patient needs.
- Commitment to learning about new areas of clinical care and how to apply knowledge in practice.
- Communication skills which can help the nurse to meet the needs of a diverse population varying in age, cultural backgrounds and economic status. Excellent written, verbal and IT communication skills.
