Job Description:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced HR Advisor to join our team at Simplify Recruitment Group. As an HR Advisor, you will be responsible for providing professional HR and Employment Law advice to clients across the UK.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Provide expert HR and Employment Law advice to clients via telephone and email
  • Work as part of a team to ensure that advice meets client needs and is compliant with the law
  • Highlight options that are not compliant and ensure clients understand the risks
  • Meet personal and department KPI's
  • Support clients with legally compliant advice and add a personal touch
  • Respond within contractual SLA's (Service Level Agreements)
  • Guide clients with all Employment Law/HR enquiries
  • Provide as many options to clients as possible
  • Take ownership and responsibility of cases to resolve them
  • Build strong relationships with clients during each interaction
  • Record advice given to clients accurately on databases
  • Support with advice on documentation and information implementation
  • Support clients in drafting ad-hoc letters where required
  • Advise in line with client documents and take their terms and conditions into consideration
  • Attend legal briefings and internal training to ensure advice is compliant
  • Study and stay up to date with changes in legislation and best practice
  • Deliver an outstanding service at all times
  • Attend video conference calls if needed
  • Refer company services and products to clients
  • Attend departmental and office team meetings
  • Carry out any other tasks deemed necessary by management

Requirements:

  • Proactive, creative problem solver

  • Ability to communicate effectively with other people in the team
  • Ability to remain professional and efficient in a fast-paced environment
  • Dynamic and flexible, and able to work under pressure
  • Professional and responsible attitude
  • Existing knowledge of Employment Law, HRM and ACAS best practice
  • Enthusiastic approach to generating new business
  • Ability to prioritise and organise your work load, and work unsupervised
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Knowledge and working experience using Microsoft Office
  • Driving license and access to a car is preferable due to the location of the office
  • Previous experience within HR is required in a similar setting, internally for a business or as part of other roles for example management positions within retail
