About the Role
As a Team Leader at Hobbycraft, you'll support the management team and drive sales, alongside delivering excellent customer service. Your responsibilities will include:
- Operating the till and handling cash, credit/debit cards, and gift card transactions accurately
- Overseeing operations, including merchandising, goods in, warehouse operations, and duty management responsibilities
- Supporting and coaching new colleagues
- Coordinating the workload of colleagues
- Answering customer enquiries
About You
We're looking for someone with a minimum of 1 year's previous retail experience, preferably in a managerial or supervisory role. You'll be passionate about all things craft and want to inspire others. You'll need to be able to learn and share expertise of products to fit customers' needs, and have high levels of enthusiasm, drive, and motivation. Confident and clear communication skills are essential, as is flexibility to accommodate business trading needs.
