Position Overview:
Join us as a Special Educational Needs Support Facilitator, working within a dedicated team to enhance the educational experience of students with diverse needs.

Working Hours:
Term time only, 35 hours per week, Monday to Friday, from 8:30 AM to 4:00 PM.

Role Responsibilities:
As a Special Educational Needs Support Facilitator, you will:
  • Engage directly with students, ensuring they receive the highest quality of educational support.
  • Assist in implementing and achieving the objectives outlined in Individual Education Plans (IEPs).
  • Support specific strategies and goals detailed in students' Education, Health, and Care Plans (EHCPs).
  • Facilitate classroom activities, lead outdoor learning experiences, and supervise students effectively.

Qualifications and Skills:
We are looking for candidates who possess:
  • A genuine enthusiasm for working with students and a desire to develop knowledge in Special Educational Needs (SEN) and Social, Emotional, and Mental Health (SEMH).
  • Strong teamwork skills and a willingness to engage in additional tasks to support the educational environment.
  • Experience in an educational setting, demonstrating continuous professional development.
  • Creative and innovative approaches to support.
  • A teaching assistant qualification.
