Job Opportunity

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Quality Engineer to join our team at Komatsu Australia. As a key member of our organization, you will play a critical role in ensuring the quality and compliance of our products.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead a team of Regional Quality Engineers to coordinate and address escalated technical issues from all regions and liaise with factory.
  • Support the development of new models, block changes, and SFR with direct links to the factory.
  • Collaborate with Reliability Engineering to address factory design issues and improve machine functions, customer issues, and reman faults.
  • Coordinate between regions to share best practices, measure, and report on quality situations, covering both factory and local quality.
Requirements
  • Tertiary engineering qualifications, preferably to Bachelor of Engineering level, or in the process of obtaining similar.
  • Good understanding of Quality Management and Continuous Improvement techniques.
  • Strong leadership skills to manage teams in different locations.
  • Highly competent in analyzing machine performance data to prepare statistical analysis reports.
  • Knowledge of engineering Design processes and Komatsu IT systems.
  • In-depth knowledge of reliability engineering principles and safety in the workplace.
  • High level of self-motivation, written, and oral communication skills.
