Menzies Distribution Limited is seeking a dedicated and reliable Nighttime Delivery Driver to join our team in York. We provide essential delivery services for our valued customers, ensuring timely and efficient transportation of goods across the region.

As a Nighttime Delivery Driver, you will play a crucial role in maintaining our high standards of service. You will be responsible for safely loading and unloading vehicles, navigating local routes efficiently, and delivering parcels to our customers with utmost care.

Your Responsibilities:
  • Load your vehicle securely and within legal weight limits.
  • Deliver parcels promptly and accurately to designated customer locations.
  • Ensure the security of both your vehicle and its contents throughout transit.
  • Collect previous day's orders for efficient processing.
  • Complete all necessary documentation according to company procedures.
  • Organize and load inbound supplies effectively.
  • Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment within the warehouse.
  • Adhere to all company policies and procedures diligently.
Your Qualifications:
  • Possess a valid UK driving license with no more than 6 points.
  • Have at least 3 years of proven driving experience.
  • Maintain a clean driving record, free from any disqualifications (NI, DD, or DR).
  • Demonstrate strong local geographical knowledge of commercial addresses and streets.
  • Be physically fit to handle the demands of a multi-drop driving and warehouse role.
  • Exhibit a hardworking, positive, and flexible attitude towards work.
  • Successfully pass a background check and drug & alcohol test if selected for the position.
