MRI Specialist Radiographer

About the Role
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced MRI Specialist Radiographer to join our team at the Division of Surgery – BHRUT NHS. As a key member of our radiography team, you will be responsible for leading the technical and radiographer staff, and further developing an efficient MRI service for our trust.
Main Responsibilities
- Participate in the effective day-to-day running of the MRI service, standardizing protocols, managing patient bookings and waiting lists, and managing radiographers and radiology support workers throughout all areas.
- Ensure the MRI service is maintained with training of staff to perform in accordance with Trust policies, including comprehensive competency assessments.
- Work in conjunction with the MRI Superintendent Radiographer to promote continuous improvements in service delivery and quality within all areas of the MRI service, using modern methods to improve productivity, leading in the delivery of service and workforce transformation, and re-design.
- Manage the work of staff in the department and help develop a culture in which members of staff are continuously improving the delivery of high-quality service, ensuring the development and acceptance of challenging but realistic objectives for staff through leadership, motivation, and systematic performance management.

Requirements
- Appropriate UK professional registration
- 5 years and above proven post-qualification experience in MRI is essential
- Management/Leadership/Supervisory skills
- In-depth knowledge of MRI Physics
