Job Overview

We are seeking a highly motivated and enthusiastic MRI Radiographer to join our dynamic Imaging Department. This is an excellent opportunity for an individual who wishes to enhance their skills in a busy department. The ideal candidate will be a good communicator and team player, capable of working under pressure. Ideally, you will have at least 2 years of experience in MRI and be looking to further develop your MR imaging skills.

Main Duties of the Job

The post-holder will participate in the effective running of the MRI service under the direction of senior staff, ensuring delivery of high-quality patient care. This will involve ensuring the MRI service is maintained with training of staff to perform in accordance with Trust policies, including comprehensive competency assessments. In liaison with senior radiographers, the post-holder will provide supervision of junior staff, students, and assistant practitioners.

Person Specification

Essential Criteria

  • Current HCPC registration
  • Hold BSc in Diagnostic Radiography, College of Radiographers Diploma, or equivalent

Desirable Criteria

  • Experience of working within an NHS organisation
  • Evidence of Continuous Professional Development
  • SoR accredited IV Certificate

Applicant Requirements

You must have appropriate UK professional registration. This post is subject to the Rehabilitation of Offenders Act 1974 (Exceptions) Order 1975 (Amendment) (England and Wales) Order 2020, and it will be necessary for a submission for Disclosure to be made to the Disclosure and Barring Service.
