Job Overview
We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated MRI Radiographer to join our dynamic Imaging Department. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality patient care and contributing to the effective running of our MRI service.
Main Duties of the Job
The post-holder will participate in the effective running of the MRI service under the direction of senior staff, ensuring delivery of high-quality patient care. This will involve ensuring the MRI service is maintained with training of staff to perform in accordance with Trust policies, including comprehensive competency assessments.
In liaison with senior radiographers, the post-holder will provide supervision of junior staff, students, and assistant practitioners. You will be required to work flexibly, including weekday, weekend, and out-of-hours duties, as part of a 7-day working department.

Person Specification
Essential Criteria
- Current HCPC registration
- Hold BSc in Diagnostic Radiography, College of Radiographers Diploma, or equivalent
Desirable Criteria
- Experience of working within an NHS organisation
- Evidence of Continuous Professional Development
- SoR accredited IV Certificate
Applicant Requirements
You must have appropriate UK professional registration. This post is subject to the Rehabilitation of Offenders Act 1974 (Exceptions) Order 1975 (Amendment) (England and Wales) Order 2020, and it will be necessary for a submission for Disclosure to be made to the Disclosure and Barring Service.
