We are seeking a Director of Global Marketing Campaigns to spearhead the strategy, execution, and localization of our international brand initiatives across Deliveroo's diverse markets. This pivotal role will report directly to the Director of Brand and will be an integral part of the Brand & Experience team within the Global Marketing and Product organization. The position operates under a hybrid work model, with a blend of in-office and remote work.

  • Creative Insight: A proven history of generating innovative and engaging creative concepts that boost brand recognition, engagement, and loyalty. Ability to formulate versatile creative strategies applicable across various channels.
  • Expertise in Creative Production: Extensive experience overseeing comprehensive creative production processes, from conceptualization and direction to execution and localization, ensuring the delivery of high-quality, on-brand campaign materials across all marketing platforms.
  • Inspirational Leadership: A visionary leader capable of motivating and empowering creative, marketing, and product teams to achieve ambitious campaign objectives. Strong commitment to team development and mentorship.
  • Collaborative Spirit: A natural team player who fosters a culture of collaboration, open communication, and knowledge sharing within the Brand & Experience team and with cross-functional partners.

Responsibilities:

  • Global Campaign Ownership: Collaborate with Insights, Marketing, Communications, and Social teams to curate an annual calendar of global and multi-market campaigns. Manage the entire process of global brand campaigns, from objective setting and brief writing to overseeing creative development and execution.
  • Campaign Evaluation: Work alongside Brand Media Measurement and Research & Insights teams to assess the effectiveness of campaigns and provide actionable insights for future initiatives. Regularly present findings to marketing and creative teams, as well as senior leadership.
  • Team Management: Supervise two direct reports, offering guidance and support. Provide consultation to local markets and the broader organization on creative production matters.
  • Creative Best Practices: Partner with internal teams and external agencies to enhance the effectiveness of creative across all channels. Develop playbooks to ensure adherence to best practices.
  • Global Toolkits Development: Collaborate with central and local teams to identify opportunities for addressing brand challenges at scale through creative toolkits and marketing playbooks.

Essential Requirements:

  • Over 10 years of proven experience in a similar capacity, delivering impactful global or multi-market campaigns.
  • Experience in managing TTL production across various media, including TV, OOH, digital, social, and radio.
  • Proven ability to manage creative agencies effectively.
  • Experience in leading direct reports.
  • Strong interpersonal skills for managing global and cross-departmental stakeholders.
  • Exceptional attention to detail.
  • Experience in communicating with senior leadership.
  • A proactive attitude with the ability to thrive in a dynamic, matrixed environment.
  • Agency experience is advantageous but not essential.
  • Experience in retail, eCommerce, tech, or FMCG sectors is preferred.
