Job Title: Housekeeping Supervisor

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Housekeeping Supervisor to join our team at The Arts Club. As a key member of our Housekeeping Department, you will be responsible for ensuring the highest standards of cleanliness and service in our hotel and public areas.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Supervise and coordinate the activities of the Housekeeping team to ensure efficient and effective service delivery.
  • Monitor and maintain the highest standards of cleanliness and hygiene in all areas of the hotel and public spaces.
  • Ensure that all guest rooms and public areas are clean, tidy, and well-maintained.
  • Manage and maintain the uniform room, laundry room, and staff areas to ensure they are clean and well-organized.
  • Coordinate the dry cleaning service and monitor uniform stock levels.
  • Assist guests with requests and resolve any issues or complaints in a professional and courteous manner.
  • Monitor and report any hazards or defects in the building, plant, or equipment.
  • Attend Health and Safety training and be fully conversant with all rules concerning Fire, Health, and Safety.

Requirements:

  • Previous experience in a Housekeeping or hospitality role.
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • High standards of cleanliness and attention to detail.
  • Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends.
