Academic Development Assistant

We are seeking a highly motivated and organized individual to join our Academic Development team as an Academic Development Apprentice. This is a fantastic opportunity to gain valuable experience in administration while receiving comprehensive training and support.
Key Responsibilities- Provide professional administrative support across all Academic Development functions at the Institute, gaining insights into the full postgraduate student lifecycle.
- Assist with recruitment and induction, record-keeping, and using Institute and University databases and course management applications.
- Support assessment and examination, annual summer research programme, committee meetings, student communications, training and development, and student experience.
- Minimum of 5 GCSEs Grade C (4+) or above, including English and Maths.
- Interest in academic administration and commitment to completing the Level 3 Business Support Administration apprenticeship qualification.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook.
- Strong customer-facing skills, excellent communication and interpersonal skills, flexibility, and proactivity in handling changing priorities.
- Ability to meet deadlines, maintain confidentiality, and attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
- Teamwork and collaboration.
